Participating models

The following is a current list of models participating in SOFIA at different stages. The Tier 1 antwater experiment has to be completed as a benchmark test for model uncertainty. For Tier 2 and 3 individual experiments conducted are specifically named. Experiments marked ✅ are completed, 🏃 indicates ongoing simulations. Only a few models included biogeochemical output 🐋. Additional information on ensemble size, availability of biogeochemical variables or passive freshwater (hosing) tracers is provided as available.
